YOUNG STARS SECURE SPONSOR
The Young Stars have secured a major title sponsorship deal on the eve of their new season with ‘Poultec Training’ who operate a local apprenticeship scheme and are based at the South Green Park business complex in Mattishall, Norfolk.
Poultec already have sponsorship deals with Tomas Topinka and Kevin Doolan and Managing Director, Edward Bales, is excited about the new tie up ‘When the Stars announced that they were renaming their National League team as the Young Stars and looking for it to serve as an apprenticeship for the senior team, it instantly appealed to us. Our company is all about helping young people get apprenticeships in their chosen profession and this is exactly what the riders in the Young Stars team will be doing’.
The Apprenticeships scheme is government backed and has been designed to increase the number of Apprenticeship opportunities and provide a dedicated, responsive service for both the employers and learners. Poultec have also simplified the process of recruiting an Apprentice through Apprenticeship vacancies, and if anybody is interested in finding out more they should visit their website at www.poultec.co.uk.
The Young Stars have also confirmed that Ricky Wallace will be named in their squad for the 2010 season, but he will be restricted to the number of meetings he competes in as he is also a full time member of Lewis Bridger’s Pit crew, but team manager Dale Allitt, is happy with that arrangement ‘to be honest it is not a problem if Ricky isn’t available for all the meetings as it will give us the opportunity to blood Jake Knight and Rhys Naylor into the team, one of the reserves will move up into the team and they will in turn then take their place. It is what our team is all about and I am sure they will be looking forward to the challenge!’.
